Vice President, Transaction Manager

This position is responsible for actively managing, coordinating and executing each task relating to the settlement of all Countrywide Bank whole loan transactions, from the date a trade is "put-on," through the settlement date and beyond. Emphasis will be on assisting the Senior Vice President on all securitizations and contract negotiations, in addition to providing traders with whole loan stipulations sheets and assisting in addressing any concerns surrounding the bidding of a potential transaction. The chosen candidate will be relied on to assure that adequate resources and training are provided sufficient to ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and that such commitment to compliance is fully communicated to the staff, internal and external clients and other parties within the manager?s area of responsibility.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
- 3+ years experience within the mortgage financing industry, preferably with exposure to, if not experience in, handling whole loan transactions.
- Extensive understanding and knowledge of math and/or finance.
- Substantial breadth of analytical, communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity (or the capacity to work productively) with Windows-based applications.
- MS Word and Excel skills strongly preferred.
