?  Direct hedge fund experience.

?  College Degree

?  5years experience either sales, marketing or product delivery the securities industry and securities industry.

?  Knowledge of hedge fund accounting/administration.

?  Industry contacts.

 The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will play a key role, as part of a marketing team, in expanding the Company?s Hedge Fund sales effort in North America. The Vice President is expected to expand the reach of the sales effort into new territories, as well as to provide new sources of business. This person will be expected to monitor market conditions and performance of industry competitors, amongst other factors, that may affect the Company?s operations.  As the sales effort of the Company grows, the Vice President would work with the Director of Marketing to hire, develop and train additional sales staff.

 Essential Responsibilities/Duties:

 

The key components of the Vice President of Sales and Marketing include the following principal areas:

−  Act as a principal lead generator in certain markets currently untapped by Company , defined in conjunction with the Director of Marketing

−  Develop sources of business new .

  Liaise with service providers and key industry contacts to seek opportunities of mutual interest and find ways to cross sell each other?s service offerings

−  More broadly, participate in the design and execution of marketing and sales strategies, policies, and programs for company service offerings to meet organizational objectives

−  Strive to maintain and consistently enhance the Company?s competitive position in the marketplace

−  Participate in developing strategies, objectives and plans for trade shows and conferences to maximize the Company?s service offering exposure

−  Assist in production of advertising, marketing brochures, sales kits and other promotional materials

−  Maintain accurate and complete records of leads, prospects, etc for reporting to senior management

−  Advise and assist senior management with sales and marketing issues and provide marketing recommendations based on investigation of trends and industry developments

−  Work on additional tasks/projects as assigned by Director of Marketing and other members of senior management when required

 

Required Education, Skills, Abilities and Characteristics:

 

?  Must possess at least ten years of work experience in the area of sales and marketing, with experience in sales at a fund administrator

?  Must be client service oriented, with a friendly, personable attitude, dedicated to quick, thorough and thoughtful responses to prospects, clients and business associates alike

?  Must have a deep and broad understanding of a plethora of hedge fund strategies and structures

?  Must be technologically astute in order to answer any questions our prospects/clients may have in connection with the technology associated with the Company?s service offerings

?  Must be a team player, resourceful and ought to possess leadership skills

?  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent analytical skills

?  Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage many projects, assignments and responsibilities and prioritize workload

?  Must have strong work ethic with the drive to meet deadlines and exceed goals

?  Ability to travel extensively, occasionally with short notice, is required

?  Must work well under pressure, with a calm demeanor

?  Possess a very professional and poised demeanor with a positive outlook
