?  Employment may last up to 6 months

?  Not a part-time position, it is a temporary full-time position

 

CASUAL CLERK/CASUAL MAIL HANDLER: Current pay $15.00/hr

1.  Casual Clerk/Casual Mail Handler positions need application only.  Print an application online at: http://www.usps.com/forms/_pdf/ps2591.pdf -or- pick up in the lobby of 1300 Evans Ave.  Specify what city or cities you are interested in working for.

CASUAL CARRIER:  Current pay $15.00/hr

? Casual Carrier needs review of DMV-H6 Record first, then application

 

IF INTERESTED IN CASUAL CARRIER POSITION, YOU MUST:

1.  Obtain a DMV ?H6? printout, H6 must be dated within a month; H6 covers 5-year driving history.

2.  Required to have a minimum of TWO YEARS driving experience.

3.  Disqualifying Violations:  driving under the influence (DUI) in the last 5-years; hit and run offenses in the last 5-years; reckless/careless driving in the last 5-years; all other violations, 3 or more in the last 3-years OR 2 or more or any at fault accidents resulting in a fatality.

If H6 is acceptable, you will be mailed an application to complete and return.

 

 

The US Postal Service requires that you successfully meet ALL of the following prerequisites in order to qualify for employment: drug screening, interview, medical, fingerprints-2 sets; history (includes work history, unemployment, school, etc, back 10 years or to your 16th birthday, whichever is first.  Gaps in history not acceptable, all years must be addressed).
