COUNSELOR

SELF-SUFFICIENCY COUNSELOR:
The Housing Authority of Alameda County in Hayward is seeking a self-starter to administer programs helping clients achieve independence from public subsidy programs. Meet with clients and social service providers to coordinate efforts, case management, explain program and monitor clients; design quarterly newsletters; compile statistics and develop reports; conduct orientations and presentations. Knowledge of counseling, interviewing and motivational techniques. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Salary: $3,497 - $4,194/Monthly, with excellent benefits.

Requires 3 years recent, paid experience providing social services; Bachelors degree in related field; or combination of education and experience.
