Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDeveloping acquisition and negotiation strategies;Monitoring contractor compliance with the contract;Enforcement of contract terms and conditions in a support role to the Contracting Officer;Resolution of contract problems in support of the Contracting Officer;Evaluation of contractor proposed contract changes and support of Contracting Officer in negotiation; Evaluation of contractor financial arrangements;Reviewing claims;Preparing documentation for closeouts;Preparing supporting documentation (e.g. Determinations and Findings); andOther contract actions which ensure proper performance by all parties to the contract. 

 

RequirementExperience as former federal government contracting officer with extensive pre-award experience in the preparation of competitive solicitations;Experience in the GS/GM 1102 professional series highly desirable;Bachelors degreed preferred with a minimum of ten years experience;Knowledge of FAR with emphasis on Part 12,13,15; andStrong communication skills.
