U.S FEDERAL AGENCY HAS TWO OPENINGS FOR CONTRACT SPECIALISTS
UP TO A FOUR YEAR CONTRACT!!!!!
?
????????? Responsibilities for the acquisition support staff positions include, but are not limited to, the following:
????????? Planning the entire procurement from recipe of purchase request through the cycle of solicitation, negotiation, contract award, administration and closeout.
????????? Reviews requisitions and determines appropriate method of procurement and recommends to the government.
????????? Develops procurement plans by reviewing previous history, market conditions and specifications; determines adequacy and completeness of description, which involves research of various catalogs or discussions with manufacture?s representatives or requisitioning sources to identify any corrective actions required, then notifies the government.
????????? Complies bidders? list from qualified bidders? applications, knowledge of suppliers, contacts with trade associations and other sources and submits to the government.
????????? Prepares solicitation documents; selects appropriate clauses, ensures clear and complete specifications including delivery requirements or other stipulations. Submits solicitation documents for government approval and release.
????????? Performs analysis of bids or proposals received and prepares report for government review.
????????? Performs analysis to determine bid responsiveness and responsibility of offeror, this includes review of past bids and award, request of pre-award survey, and establishment of price reasonableness by either price or limited cost analyses and provide recommendations to the government.
????????? Drafts final contract; prepares recommendations for award, documenting reasons for decisions including justifying basis for not recommending lowest bidder and submits for government approval.
????????? Knowledge of, or ability to learn, the full range of contracting procedures and methods, including negations of completive acquisitions, use of GSA Schedules, and ability to plan and carry out contracting assignments in a timely manner.
????????? Knowledge of, or ability to learn, commonly used contract types and required clauses to plan and/or carry out the procurement.
????????? Skilled in solving practical problems as they relate to the development of the specifications or delivery of supplied and/or services
????????? Ability to work overtime and weekends, when required.
