Leggett & Platt Global Services, a fast growing international procurement division of a Fortune 500 company, is seeking an organized and analytical individual with strong interpersonal and persuasive skills to join our Customs Compliance staff. The selected individual must have at a minimum of an Associates Degree in business or related field, BA preferred.

The appropriate candidate should have at least 2-3 years experience in the following areas of international trade:

- Proper Customs valuation of goods

- NAFTA country of origin determination

- Classification of goods under the harmonized tariff system (HTSUS)

- Experience in coordinating the import of goods into the United States

Supporting the Corporation?s Customs Compliance Manager, the selected individual will be responsible for ensuring that the Corporation?s international trade operations are compliant with US Customs regulations, as well as aiding our outside Customs brokers in the compliant processing of international goods.

A Customs Broker License is preferred, but one is not required for this position.
