Local 32BJ is one of the largest and most dynamic labor unions in the Northeast, with 85,000 members in 7 states and Washington, DC. The Deputy Political Director will help build political power at the union by increasing member participation and training new leaders. The Deputy Political Director will also play a role in advocating for worker-friendly legislation, activating members for important elections and supporting the union?s organizing efforts. Please have significant experience in labor, political or community organizing. Ability to speak a second language is helpful. Salary depends on experience. Women and people of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
