Export Compliance Coordinator

The Export Compliance Coordinator will interact on a regular basis with L-3 International Licensing office on all aspects of export and import of L-3 DAT's products, technical data and services.  Provide expert advice and guidance to  all personnel on export/import compliance requirements associated with international transactions..  Prepare and submit commodity jurisdiction requests, commodity classification requests,  license applications, TAAs, MLAs, OPAs and reports as necessary to meet U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Commerce and/or L-3 Corporate export policies/guidelines.  Implement and maintain a process of export compliance and control within corporate guidelines.  Implement a process of self-audit and periodic training as required by corporate procedures.  Prepare and submit requests for approval of International Consultants, Distributors & SalesRepresentative agreements and certain international subcontractor agreements.  Prepare and administer Technology Transfer Control Plans & ProceMust have minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in exporting ITAR & EAR-controlled hardware, technical data and services.  Must have extensive knowledge of the  Department of State ITAR & Commerce Dept EAR as well as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.  Must be willing to travel and attend corporate and State or Commerce Dept sponsored export conferences several times a year.  Contract Administration experience is a plus.

Must have outstanding writing and communications skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office.  Must be able to work with minimal supervision, be detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task.  Must  have a demonstrated problem-solving ability.
