The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations is recruiting a Personal Services Contract Financial Analyst in the Financial Management Division.  The incumbent will perform a variety of financial management responsibilities.  Duties include researching and entering data into financial systems, verifying obligations and processing expenditures, maintaining historical records, preparing financial audits and analyses in various formats (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), maintaining internal controls, ensuring data integrity and completing special projects as assigned.  At the PSC 12 grade level, the incumbent is required to review and analyze obligation and expenditure of funds for complex construction and other contracts to resolve payment issues and prepare contract closeout information; develop plans, procedures, and instructions for financial analyses and vendor payments, and to analyze and process complex vendor payment requests. This is a professional government financial series with a defined career path.  The incumbent will be a member of a financial service team supporting various programs or projects.  Applicants with strong writing, analysis, communication, and presentation skills are encouraged to apply.
