Government Compliance Analyst

In executing these projects, our people embrace integrity, excellence, teamwork and accountability - the values that connect us across the globe.The Government Compliance Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing company financial documents and records to ensure Earth Tech policies and procedures, FAR, CAS, DCAA CAM and other regulatory guidelines are followed. Specific responsibilities include federal and state audit support; interface with operations to ensure understanding and compliance with government terms and conditions; analyze current policies and procedures and implement best practices; monitor CAS compliance and assist in cost impact studies; provide guidance and classroom instruction on federal accounting and compliance issues; review critical general ledger accounts for allowability and allocability, and conduct financial analysis and modeling.
Primary Duties:
1. Support DCAA and other government audit requests.

2. Extract data from financial and contract databases and support findings with written work papers and schedules.

3. Interface and solve compliance problems with all levels of company personnel and outside government auditors.

4. Respond to compliance questions with satisfactory answers and factual support.

5. Make recommendations to improve internal controls, policies and procedures.

6. Analyze key general ledger accounts for allowability/reasonableness in accordance with FAR.

7. Follow-up with employees to resolve issues and ensure implementation of guidance given is complete and accurate.

8. Perform various special projects as requested by management.
