Excellent opportunity for college student looking for an internship in Government Affairs field.  Junior or senior class standing preferred; Political Science/Government/Business/Computer Science major with knowledge of Web site development required; excellent writing and computer skills necessary (Word, Access, Excel required).  Primary responsibility to be creating and updating office’s Web sites.  Other responsibilities include:  researching various topics, including education, trade, intellectual property, privacy, using a variety of sources including periodicals, federal and state laws, Congressional bills, federal government regulations, and e-Commerce; attending hearings on Capitol Hill; aiding staff in preparation for testimony, speeches, and meetings; and writing reports, abstracts and summaries based on research conducted.  EOE M/F/D/V.









Full time Junior or senior class standing preferred

Minimum GPA 3.0

Political Science/Government/Business major preferred but not required
