Journeyman Analyst

The successful candidate will aassists in planning, coordinating, organizing, and controlling the CH-47 PMO CM/DM programs.

Develops and recommends assigned portions/segments of the total contract CM/DM scope of work which details the CM/DM requirements. Monitors or analyzes and evaluates the preparation of engineering data/documentation to determine completeness, adequacy of detail, and technical accuracy.? Coordinates the review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) Request for Deviations (RFD), and Request for Waivers (RFWs) and recommend approval or disapproval to the CH-47 PMO?s CM/DM Lead. Maintains computerized status accounting records of technical data packages/models, ECPs, RFDs, RFWs, hardware, and software. Assists in the preparing of data calls, scope of work and contract data requirements lists and review all data requests for compliance to policies and requirements.? Communicates in writing and orally with CH-47 PMO personnel, other government agencies, and contractors to resolve problems and conflicts in CM/DM within duties assigned.

The functional discipline of configuration management consists of hardware and software configuration management; contract data management; engineering data management; and deficiency report management. Employee must be knowledgeable of configuration/data management input requirements for program plans and PWS, CDRL, Section L - Instructions to Offer, and Section M - Basis for Award. ?Specialized Training: At least one basic level and one advanced level course in configuration and contract data management. This training may have been acquired by attending either DoD or comparable private industry courses. Minimum Education/Experience Requirements (A Bachelors Degree in related discipline and have a minimum of 3 years of task related job experience. Three additional years of related experience (total of six years) may be used in lieu of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited? college/university.? Employee?s experience must have been acquired by performing tasks directly associated with configuration management processes.
