Program Manager

Job Function: Program enhancements, Resources Development, Customer Satisfaction and Development, Growth within sales.  The Program Manager is the primary interface with the customer for technical support and direction.  Strong leadership and management qualities are required in addition to technical expertise.

 

Tasks/Duties: 
?Directs the day to day operations of the contract.
?Supervises environmental teams, ensuring customers receive quality service.
?Coordinates and schedules labor distribution, material, and travel in order to maintain contract requirements.
?Manages contract budgeted expense levels.
?Ensures financial targets are met and exceeded.

 

Customer Satisfaction & Dev:
?Develop and sustain positive, effective relationships with RMC customers through onsite communications.
?Manage team assignments to ensure customer satisfaction.
?Accessible to customers for information and guidance.

 

Growth: 
?Work with business development staff to identify and capture growth opportunities within the Environmental Division.
?Identify opportunities to expand within existing customer base.
?Work with other program managers to identify and leverage shared opportunities within other divisions of RMC.

 

Skills/Knowledge: 
?Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
?Have sound judgment and analytical skills.
?Ability to understand complex operations in broad perspective.
?Must have strong leadership abilities.
?Must be willing to travel.
?Ability to exercise effective time management.
?Knowledge of procurement procedures and service costing.
?Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and proven negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
?Solid understanding of financial management.
?Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.

 

Education: 
?Master?s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or related technical field. 
?Fifteen years experience in environmental program development and contract management.
