Minimum:

 

? 5 years managing implementation of full life-cycle ERP projects.

? 3 years experience in Federal ERP projects.

? Demonstrated mastery of monitoring, controlling, tracking and reporting Information Technology projects.

? Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft Project 2003, including custom views and reports.

? Demonstrated mastery of Earned Value Management Systems.

? Excellent communication, intra-personal and seasoned project management skills.

? Self-starter with ability to facilitate project personnel to achieve project milestones and deliver on time and budget.

? PMP certified preferred.

 

 

Work Location:

 

? Vienna, Virginia ? Tyson?s Corner area.

 

Travel Terms and Conditions

 

? Must adhere to Federal JTR travel regulations with additional restrictions imposed by the project.

 

Description/Responsibilities: 

 

? The PMO Team Leader reports directly to the Project Director.

? Provide Program Management Office (PMO) leadership implementing information technology and an ERP system.

? Provide effective management of the approved scope, schedule, cost and quality baseline.

? Facilitate the project team to create a resource loaded project schedule in accordance with the approved Work Breakdown Structure.

? Monitor and control the baseline schedule and budget and report progress and status of the schedule and budget according to the approved baseline, using an Earned Value Management System.

? Perform variance analysis and prepare variance analysis reports on a monthly basis.

? Manage the document control and records management process and procedures to ensure compliance by the project team for all work products and deliverables.

? Manage safety and security of the project.

? Facilitate others to accomplish assigned daily tasks, according to the approved project schedule baseline.

? Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Director.

 

Must Have Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

 

? Mastery of project management principles, processes, tools and techniques at a minimum level recognized in the Project Management Institute Project Management Body of Knowledge.

? Demonstrated leadership and communication skills both written and verbal.

? Demonstrated experience facilitating others to accomplish daily tasks, according to the approved scope, schedule and budget baseline.

? Demonstrated experience performing document control and records management for an ERP project.

? Demonstrated experience monitoring, controlling, tracking and reporting progress and status for an ERP project.

? Mastery of Microsoft Project 2003, including custom views and reports.

? Mastery of Earned Value Management System principles, processes, tools and techniques at a minimum level recognized by the Defense Contract Management Agency.

? Demonstrated experience performing variance analysis, preparing and reporting variance analysis reports, graphs, metrics and trends.

? Ability to manage safety and security on the project.

? Knowledge of Federal Government people behavior and culture.
