Web Applications Developer

 

3-5 years experience developing web based business management applications in the DoD environment. Need siginificant experience with MS .Net, MS Visual Basic, ASP,  MS COM+,  MS Office Components, and MS Visual Source Safe. Also need experience with building applications interfacing with Oracle 9i and 10g database. Need experience working in MS IIS and Windows 2003 Server environments.
Active Secret clearance is required. CMM SEI experience is a plus. Degree in MIS or Computer Science is preferred.

Must be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment and with government customer. Travel to DC area 2-3 time per year may be required. Duties will include requirements development, database and interface design, unit code and test, system test, system documentation, training support, and maintenance of a web based business management and reporting application. The development team and application/database host site is at US Army SMDC on Redstone Arsenal. Application supports Missile Defense Agency commnunity and has been in service for 9 years. Effort includes development of new modules as well as enhancements and maintenance to existing modules. Customer interface required for requirements development, training, and user support.
