A/R Specialists

BioScrip, Inc. is a billion dollar publicly held, high growth company specializing in disease focused drug distribution to patients with chronic diseases. These include HIV, organ transplant and those treated with a wide range of biotech injectable products. BioScrip works directly with patients, providers, payors, manufacturers, and wholesalers to improve clinical and cost-of-care outcomes.

We currently have openings for A/R Specialists as a result of business growth. These positions are responsible for contacting insurance companies & pharmacies to resolve billing issues. They also negotiate payment programs and inform customers of their delinquent account status. Insurance verification and coordination of benefits experience for pharmacy services a major plus. Hours: M-F, 9:00-6:00. These positions require computer and data entry skills, strong analytical skills, knowledge of Medicare and other health insurance billing. Must have 1-2 yrs medical billing and collections experience.
