Position Description and Responsibilities

Best Doctors is currently seeking an Account Manager for our US Group Health business unit based in Brentwood, Tennessee. 

The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for US Group Health clients.  The position will require an individual with the ability to balance the account implementation process as well as the ongoing service needs for existing relationships in a complex healthcare environment.

The Account Manager will be focused on facilitating revenue generation by assisting in the sales process from a support perspective, and by facilitating broader utilization of Best Doctors? services with existing clients.  Additionally, the Account Manager will be charged with developing and supporting retention strategies for their assigned client base.

Primary responsibilities include: 

? Relationship management ? primary client interface; develop and maintain relationships throughout all levels of the client organization; achieve positive client reviews that measure overall quality of relationship, communication and strategic thinking skills.

? Revenue generation ? participate in pre-implementation calls with corresponding business development staff; interact with sales team to design and implement renewal and retention strategies; coordinate 12-month marketing plans for assigned clients.

? Project management ? coordinate all facets of program launch with clients; oversee data integration process; distribute reports to clients to evaluate performance against defined business metrics. 

Periodic travel to the client-site will be required with this position.

Position Related Skills

The key qualifications for the Account Manager role include:

? 5+ year account management or related experience; preferably in a healthcare environment

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

? Excellent organizational and project management skills

? Seasoned experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

? Proficiency in using electronic tools for gathering and storing client information
