Account Rep/SAFA Business Office

Overview : This position performs assigned buisness office tasks in the processing of professional billing for the BGSMC/SAFA Medical Education Clinics in order to ensure an orderly and efficient billing and accounts receivable management system. Assigned tasks may include patient registration inusrance verification, financial evaluation of financial assistance plan for patients, charge ticket review and entry, billing,payment and adjustment posting, depostit preparation and reconciliation, patient account follow up, refund processing reception/cashiering, and customer service.

Qualifications :

MINIMUM ONE YEAR MEDICAL BILLING EXPERIENCE, PREFERABLY IN PHYSICIAN SERVICES BILLING. PROVEN SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF BILLING PRACTICES INCLUDING THE USE OF CODING BOOKS (CPT AND ICD9), PATIENT ACCOUNTING, CREDIT AND INSURANCE PROCEDURES. EXP. USING COMPUTER APPLICATONS. Must be bi-lingual in English/Spanish.
