Administrative Assistant / Unit Secretary

This position assists the Director of Clinical Operations and the Clinic Manager with administrative duties such as scheduling patient appointments, coordinating patient referrals, preparing patient medical charts and records, entering patient and billing information into the clinic computer systems, preparing management reports, and performs other general administrative duties.

 

The position requires at least one year of experience as an administrative assistant or comperable role.  Prior experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.

 

Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.  A knowledge of medical billing and coding is highly desirable.

 

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
