Department Administrator

The Department Administrator will be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing business management and administrative services for a complex clinical department with educational, research and clinical missions. The Administrator will conduct detailed analyses of each mission within the department and, based upon findings, will prepare and implement detailed operational and financial action plans to ensure the growth, development and success of the department.

 

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a closely related field; a Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a closely related field is preferred.

 

Additionally, the successful candidate will have 10 years of directly related experience in medical management, with prior experience in

turnaround situations. A CPA or MBA is preferred. Experience in clinical research and/or an academic medical institution is desired.
