Appeals Speciaist

If you have experience as a medical insurance collector and appealing insurance claims, and you?re interested in taking that experience a step further, then our position might interest you.  Pediatrix Medical Group, the nation?s largest provider of neonatal and maternal-fetal physician group services, has an opening for an Appeals Specialist to work in our Richmond office.

 The successful candidate will be responsible for appealing insurance underpayments.  This individual will posses the ability to draft appeal letters, communicate effectively, perform research and interpret payer regulations.  Knowledge about insurance networks is a plus along with excellent oral & written communication skills.  Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.  Educational requirements are a two-year degree or one to two years related experienced or training.
