BENEFITS CONTRACT ADMINSTRATOR I (JOB # 13766)
Lewiston, ID

Oversee Regence product lines in the following role:
Responsible for the development of contracts/booklets, including development and recommendation of language, analysis, & compliance support for Regence product lines
Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external contacts
Research issues

We are currently seeking candidates with the following skills:
Bachelor's Degree in English, Business or Health Care Administration, Communications or related field plus 3-5 years work-related experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong writing techniques and proofreading skills
Ability to learn all aspects of the Plan's contracts/booklets, benefits administration and/or overall business processes for all lines of business/products
Ability to coordinate activities with all levels of staff within the Plan and external agencies
Ability to negotiate effectively
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
Excellent oral communication skills
Knowledge of the health insurance industry, including benefit design and compliance issues with capability of incorporating into contracts and other related materials desired
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and develop multiple projects within varied time constraints
Technical skills necessary to effectively navigate the electronic publishing system used for document creation desired
Ability to work in high-pressure environment with a low level of supervision and produce detailed work
Knowledge of federal laws and guidelines (including but not limited to COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, USERRA, DOL. etc.) and applicable state insurance code and regulations desired
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
