Biller/coder/accounts receivable expert

Extremely busy medical practice seeks very experienced person well versed in ICD9 and CPT coding, correct coding initiative, and collection of insurance and patient accounts receivable. Must be a very detail-oriented person with a strong work ethic. Experience in ophthalmology codes a plus. Must be easy going, quiet team player. Needs to enjoy number crunching. However, this person will also need a firm, dogged side, in order to address overdue patient and insurance accounts. Must be very computer literate. Knowledge of Medical Manager also a real plus. This person needs to be flexible, since s(he) may be called upon to do various other office duties, such as letter typing, answering phones and greeting people at the front desk, but this will not be his/her primary responsibility.
