Billing Manager/Office Manager- Medical Manager Software a plus

Seeking Dynamic Hands on Office Manager/Billing Manager for Established Pediatric Practice.

 

Candidate will:

Coordinate and direct business office activities.  Involved in detailed monitoring of day to day operations of the office. Billing duties include all areas of accounts recievable, including posting insurance (EOB's) and patient payments, posting of charges and knowledge of coding.  Also, working insurance and patient reports, running statements and interacting with patients in an effort to collect balances.Additionally, candidate will reconcile daily paperwrok and make bank deposits.   Also, applicant will manage accounts payable, and collections   Manager will evaluate patient flow, registration, scheduling, and procedures.  Ideal candidate should have understanding of Insurance contracting and physican credentialing. Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures.  Evaluates employee productivity and staffing needs.  Candidate will manage six employees and assigns and delegates duties to each.  Manager should have strong communication skillls and be customer service minded.   Maintains payroll, personnel files, monthly management reports, and monthly financial statements (i.e bookkeeping and bank reconcilliation).  Repsonsible for maintenance schedule of building and housekeeping.  Candidate should be able to provide computer hardware and software support on a limited basis and when necessary.  Reports directly to physician/owner.  This is a two-fold position requiring knoweldge of medical billing and managerial duties.  Experienced with Medical Manager software a definite plus.
