Billing Office Manager

Position Summary:

 

Responsible for effective and efficient functioning of the centralized billing office employees to ensure maximization of cash flow while reinforcing high quality patient, physician and customer relations.  Manage the review and resolution of client issues related to billing, accounts receivable, and credit and collection policies.

 

Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years experience in a medical billing office, with emphasis in revenue cycle management in the healthcare industry;5 years in a billing management position, managing 25+ employees;Demonstrated knowledge of medical practice billing and operations;Strong leadership skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills;Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities;Knowledge of third party and insurance company operating procedures;Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision;Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred;Misys and IDX experience a plus.
