CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)
TITLE: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
SETTING: Medical Billing Company
REPORTS TO: CEO
LOCATION: Connecticut
JOB SUMMARY: The COO will have day-to-day management of the company and its staff. Management scope will include: strategic planning, management of all operations, developing and maintaining positive customer, business and vendor relationships. COO will be responsible for business development, supervision of staff, management and oversight of information technology systems, physical plant and all equipment. In addition, COO will supervise finances, HR Management, budgets, and assist the CEO in any and all matters that support the growth and management of the business. COO will ensure that the company is managed in keeping with best practices regarding quality, policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Individual must possess ?exceptional? communication skills (written & oral) and excellent interpersonal skills
? Minimum of 15-years of experience in a healthcare financial field, central business office, medical claims/billing, or medical practice management environment
? At least 5-years in Physician billing
? Bachelor?s Degree required (Master?s Degree/MBA preferred)
? CPC Certification preferred
