Growing HB Health Care Supply Company is looking for motivated, self initiating candidates.

 



Responsibilities/Duties:



 

Responsible for the collection of outstanding amounts on the customer accounts.  Responsible for reviewing and taking action on all correspondence received from the payer sources (RAD?s, EOB?s, EOMB?s, collection letters, etc). 

 



Requirements: 

 

Medical collections knowledge is necessary to perform the Collector job function.  A collector will need to know/have:Knowledge of first time claims billing process Attachment requirements for multiple coverage types (catalog pages, medical records, authorizations). Medicare time limit for filing claims and processing EOMB denialsHow to calculate Medicare fees (billed/allowed/copay responsibilityHow to read a Medicare EOMBCrossover codesPayment codes Denial codesMedi-Cal time limits for filing claims and processing denialsHow to read a Medi-Cal RADDeciphering the CCN Payment reduction codes (i.e. 475,476)Formulas for proper reimbursement for supplies through Medi-Cal
