Corporate Development Strategist
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the strategy development and business planning cycle, including preparing necessary information, leading assigned clients through the process and assisting in implementation.
Duties:
Market Assessment -
a) Identifies major strategic issues critical to the business.
b)Conducts primary and secondary research to assess the organization and its environment.
c) Gains cross-functional, business unit and clinical input.
d) Monitors emerging clinical and technological trends to identify business opportunities.
e) Develops forecasts for new and/or existing business.
f) Performs ongoing competitive assessment activities.
g) Conducts market and strategic analysis.
Strategy Development -
a) Provides leadership in the development and implementation of innovative solutions to complex business issues.
b) Provides leadership in the developing and the business strategy for the entities assigned.
c) Leads the ongoing review of core business segments.
Strategy Implementation:
a) Works with assigned clients to implement plans to build their business.
b) Serves as project manager, working closely with the Executive Sponsor, to achieve project objectives.
Decision Making -
a) Uses Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Inforum to mine data and create information.
b) Prepares and delivers presentations to Executive Management, Board, and external parties, including potential strategic business partners.
c) Develops proposals.
Job Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Planning. Marketing, Business Administration or Health Care Administration. MBA or Masters of Hospital Administration desired. Must have a minimum of 3+ years related experience in a health care setting.
Must demonstrate strategy development, business planning, problem-solving and project management abilities, along with the ability to work with Executive Members and Board Members. Must have excellent written and communication skills.
