This position is responsible for providing supervision, education and support to business office managers and supervisors in the areas including billing and insurance follow-up receivable collections, self-pay collections and customer service, denials management, HIPPA compliance, and other responsibilities aligned with the business office. Must be able to proficiently comprehend and discuss the total picture of the revenue cycle and manage supervisors to ensure resolution to patient accounts.

 

Responsibilities Include:
? Calculating adjusted business based upon production

? Analyzes financial data and develops a plan to increase productivity and service levels

? Conduct internal audits to ensure appropriate reimbursement is in full compliance with federal and state

  regulations and company and client reimbursement policies and procedures.

? Manage the internal technology aspect of the collection process to ensure maximum results and

  efficiency within the business office.

? Oversees management team to ensure resolution of patient accounts


Requirements:

? Bachelor's Degree in related field and a minimum of five years of healthcare experience with a proven

  leadership and performance improvement record.

? Significant knowledge of billing and collection issues that impact A/R.  
? Ability to proficiently comprehend the revenue cycle providing analytical analysis to clients.

? Comfortable interacting with various management and staff levels.
? Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point. Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm.
? Ability to multi-task and to specifically perform a wide variety of tasks that require independent 

  judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. 
? Ability to affectively communicate and manage conflicts in task priorities within required time frames.
? Demonstrates professionalism and flexibility to work schedules based on need.
