Waterbury Hospital has partnered with Secord & Associates, Inc. in seeking a Director, Quality Management.  This position reports directly to the Administrative Director, Quality, Safety and Compliance.  The Director, Quality Management is responsible for hospital-wide implementation of a clinical performance improvement program that aligns with the strategic initiatives of the organization and complies with regulatory requirements.  This position provides direct supervision for Infection Control and Surveillance, concurrent DRG documentation review and Customer Service and Advocacy. 

 

Qualification Criteria:

?  Masters Degree in related area required.

?  Minimum of five years hospital experience in management level positions with demonstrated progressive responsibility.

?  Has knowledge of compliance and accreditation requirements.

?  Strong leadership, organizational, facilitation and project management skills.

?  Knowledge and experience with application of CQI tools.

?  Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
