We have created an exciting new position within our Healthcare Division--  Director of Business Development--  to drive our market penetration and sales growth to the next level.

 

This position, located in our Wilton, CT office, is perfect for the experienced healthcare sales professional who has the demonstrated ability to identify and develop strategic relationships, sell our business solutions consultatively, and generate dynamic sales growth.

 

Core Competencies

 

? Demonstrated ability to identify, sell, and penetrate healthcare services clients

? Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow client relationships over time

? Understanding of, and familiarity with, healthcare services sales, particularly to:

n private insurers

n state and federal government 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

? Identify and develop internal and external strategic relationships

? Identify and build long-term strategic opportunities

? Solicit new business via prospecting; cold calling and face to face interaction

? Sell consultatively, serving the client as a ?solutions? expert

? Thoroughly qualify during all stages of the sales process and successfully close sales

? Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

? Prepare and present sales presentations and Request for Proposals

? Research and identify opportunities:

n Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Service

n Private Commercial Healthcare Insurers

? Develop strategic marketing plans to maximize market penetration and revenue

? Develop marketing and sales material

 

Qualifications--  Required

 

? 4 year degree - BS or BA

? 5-10 years of outside sales and / or business development experience

? Experience selling healthcare services

? Experience selling to private industry and / or government

? Marketing experience

? Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

? Experience building and maintaining client relationships

? Confidence in working with senior executives (government and non-government)

? Ability to travel regionally within assigned sales territory 25 - 35%.

? Word, PowerPoint, Excel

 

 

Qualifications--  Preferred

 

? MBA

? Experience selling to private insurers

? Experience selling to CMS, Medicare, and / or Medicaid

? Experience with medical reimbursement methodology

? Knowledge of state and federal government healthcare programs

? Knowledge of healthcare policy and government affairs

? Overpayment Recovery experience
