The Director reports to the Chief Nurse Executive and is accountable for all activities related to the 24 -hour clinical and administrative management in the Emergency Department and has the responsibility for quality improvement, efficient and effective use of resources and compliance with regulations pertinent to the Emergency area.

Position requirements:

BS in Nursing or related field, MSN, MHA or MBA is preferred; 3+ years of Emergency Department experience is required; 2-5 years of progressive management experience is necessary; current CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification is required
