Director of Reimbursement

Providence Health & Services is recruiting for the position of Director of Reimbursement (full-time, exempt) located in Seattle, Washington. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, Finance, this position is responsible for managing and monitoring the development and realization of reimbursement standards across the health system.? Primary areas of responsibility will include: defining and implementing standard financial policies and procedures for calculating contractual allowances and reserves for financial reporting, performing periodic audit reviews at the Regions to ensure compliance with the standard policies and cost report preparation, developing monthly and year-end contractual allowance calculation estimates; leading the development of a quality compliance dashboard for reporting compliance metrics; analyzing the reimbursement impact of proposed programs and/or regulatory changes; communicating critical or non-compliance issues, and leading special projects as assigned.

Required Skills:
Requirements for the position include the equivalent of a Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting and a minimum of ten years of experience in healthcare finance, business development and Medicare cost reporting as well as five years of experience in multiple facility healthcare finance, business development and reimbursement services.
