General Manager

The GENERAL MANAGER is a qualified Health Care professional who is responsible for all operational functions for a designated location(s) and provides the necessary leadership to achieve clinical and financial success.

This individual implements, provides and coordinates all aspects of business development and sales for the location; Monitors location activities to assure quality patient care and compliance with all federal and state regulations; Assures location performance is within budgetary guidelines ; and Assures data integrity for agency billing and accounts receivable.

Required Skills:
1. Baccalaureate degree in Health Care or Business and 3 to 5 years of Health are management experience required; OR a licensed Health Care professional with 5 to 7 years of Health Care management experience of which 2 or more years must be as an administrative supervisor in a Home Health environment.
2. Health Care sales and business development experience preferred.
3. Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation and reimbursement principles is preferred.
4. Ability to interpret financial statements necessary to the development and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
5. Must possess the leadership disposition and passion to motivate and direct the work of all levels of staff as well as to interact professionally with the community and referral sources.
