Great Plains Specialist - Report Writer and Administrator

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Location:  Grad Rapids, MI

 

Hours:  8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

? This person will be involved in writing reports and administering the server in which Great Plains exists.  The biggest part of the job will be writing reports in Great Plains. (using the latest version of Great Plains and SQL 2005. )

? Responsible for working with users to train them on learning the different aspects of using Great Plains.

? Write custom reports in Great Plains for the in house application.

? Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the client's

 Internet which is on Sharepoint. 

? Responsible for the Extranet Portal which allows Sales Reps to get into Great Plains.

? Administer the salesforce.com accounts and handle any required integration.

? The IT team is expected to wear several different hats, so this individual could be called upon to perform a large number of tasks from a support standpoint.

? Administer and support the Great Plains server and application (adding/deleting users, creating passwords, etc?)

 

Skills Required:

 

? At least 3 years experience in Microsoft Great Plains, looking for expert level (needs to know the Great Plains schema and has to really know how to write reports and handle all security concerns associated with the reports)

? At least 2 years experience working with SQL Reporting Services, looking for intermediate level.
