Industrial Safety Specialist
Special Considerations:

Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Support the conduct of a comprehensive Industrial Safety Program. Perform Industrial Safety Inspections for contract wide locations, and provide technical advice and assistance to management and field personnel on a wide range of Safety, Environmental and Industrial Hygiene issues. Support the development, implmentation, and conduct of new and existing Safety and Health Programs.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of OSHA29 CFR 1900-1910, familiarity with NEC, NIOSH, NFPA, and ANSI Standards required. Prior military experience/knowledge of USAF AFOSH Standards and related regulatory guidance desired. Must have working knowledge of Environmental (EPA) issues as they relate to Industrial Safety. Background in Industrial Hygiene Program requirements and field application desireable. Extensive experience in Safety Program conduct and field inspection/audit activities is required. Must have strong computer skills. Familiarity with database maintenance helpful. Must be familiar with HAZCOM, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space and Electrical Safety Program conduct. BS/BA degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience plus two years of experience. Must obtain and maintain a Dod Secret clearance which requires U.S. citizenship. Valid U.S. driver's license required.
