Position: Healthcare Business Analyst
Location: Baltimore, MD
Duration: 18 months
DESCRIPTION
Our Client is looking for a Business Analyst that will actively work to provide day to day production support to their Claims and Service area. The position is on the business team, but is part of the IT development lifecycle. This position will report to a Manager. This position may require some overtime to meet tight deadlines.
Detailed functional specs requirements capture
Facilitate functional Design
Business system impact analysis
User Acceptance Testing
Floor support and troubleshooting technical and business process issues
Security access maintenance and setup for users to enrollment system
File maintenance for renewals
Resolve daily member claims and service issues
HIPAA cert process
The required skills for the position are:
Demonstrate 2+ years of functional design facilitation
Training and experience in structured design principles
Experience with coordinating with IT on requirements for system changes required
Strong understanding of how requirements/business design translates into technical design/development a must!
2-3 years of Claims and Service experience is a must
Experience on mainframe systems (i.e. TSO and Cobol based applications)
Word, Excel, and MS Access is preferred
Strong written and analytical abilities
Candidate must have a can do attitude, roll up the sleeves and get the job done.
