JOB DETAILS: PayGrade: 150, Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: 8-5; Days of work: M-F

SUMMARY:
The IT Auditor is responsible for complementing the financial/operational audit function for OhioHealth with a specific view toward Information Technology controls. This includes evaluating general computer controls, specific application controls, asset security and network controls, and HIPAA regulatory requirements. IT Audit objectives are to ensure the existence, completeness and proper functioning of internal control systems which safeguard assets, ensure the reliability and accuracy of data, promote operational efficiency and ensure compliance with management and relevant regulatory or compliance policies. The IT Auditor is responsible for coordinating activities with the Information Security section of Information Services and involving financial/operational audit staff where appropriate to accomplish IT Audit objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Credentials, Licenses: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Accounting

Specialized Knowledge: IT Audit, familiarity with mid-range/client-server, Windows, and network security and control issues. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Kind and Length of Experience: 1 ? 4 years IT audit, consulting, internal audit, public accounting or related experience

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Credentials, Licenses: Working toward CISA, CIA a plus

Specialized Knowledge: Healthcare knowledge a plus, especially with McKesson Horizon Clinical and Financial systems, and PeopleSoft. ACL or other computer assisted audit techniques.

Kind and Length of Experience: Progressively responsible positions related to IT audit or consulting with specific practical experience in design, implementation or audit of computer related controls is highly desirable.
