Imaging Specialist

OrthoRx, a leading orthopedic durable medical equipment company, has a career opportunity available for an Imaging Specialist for our corporate office in Plano, Texas.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for: The processing of store fax packages;  Forwarding billing cover sheets to the billing department to ensure timely booking of revenue; and Processing the daily lock box file into the TIMS viewer.

 

Qualified candidates should possess the following:High school diploma or equivalent. One to three years related healthcare payment posting experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  DME experience preferred.General understanding of medical terminology (anatomy and terminology) and understanding of the complexities and guidelines regarding insurance.Highly developed attention to detail and organization skills are critical. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Above average interpersonal communication skills required; ability to work well with center personnel and associates.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel, and general business equipment.  Experience with TIMS beneficial.Ability to calculate figures and amounts using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and decimals, ability to use calculator.
