PDS, San Diego's leading medical billing and practice management company, has openings for experienced insurance billers and collectors. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience with major PPO/HMO/IPA payors.
These are not entry-level positions.

We are located in the Point Loma area (where the 5 and 8 freeways meet, near the Sports Arena and Sea World).

Job duties include:CPT/ICD coding as neededClaim review & submissionPatient callsCorrespondenceFollow-up on unpaid claims Appeals

The ideal candidate:Knows Medical Manager software Has worked in one or more of these specialties: oncology, plastic / reconstructive / ortho / general surgery, urology, ob/gyn or cardiology Is detail-oriented, resourceful, and a problem-solver Enjoys a fast-paced work environment Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills
