Insurance Collections

Busy 3 physician group located in Sugar Land, TX (SW of Houston) is seeking an experienced full-time insurance collector who can perform a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced, customer-oriented, clinical environment.

Some of the major functions of this position include:Insurance Appeals/DenialsClaim StatusAR ReportingMedicare Compliance

 

Qualified candidates will have:

? Excellent customer service skills

? Working knowledge of all Health Plans, MicroMD system, and MS Windows

? Ability to multi-task and prioritize

? Patient oriented mindset

? Good phone etiquette, good work habits, good attitude and personable

? Ability to communicate effectively and work alongside all levels of

employment

? Knowledge of filing an insurance appeal

 

The minimum requirements for this position include a High School diploma with at least 2 years of directly related experience. Experience in MicroMD is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
