Insurance Verifier; Insurance Status: Confirmer

Group managed care dental practice currently looking for individuals to fill several positions in our insurance department.  These positions are full time positions, no weekends, and company benefits following 90 days of successful full-time employment. Successful candidates will have ability to follow instructions, be computer literate, organized and have ability to multi-task, must be able to work independently.

 

Dental knowledge is preferred.

 

Insurance Verifier - contacts insurance companies to verify insurance coverage and documents responses in data system.

 

Insurance Status - contacts insurance companies regarding status of claim payment and identifies where additional information is needed to complete processing.  Notifies appropriate personnel to obtain additional information and submits to insurance companies.  Documents information in data system.

 

Confirmer - places calls to individuals to remind them of appointments.  Documents activities in data system.

 

Insurance claims filer - Experienced with filing electronic filing of Medicaid (TDH) claims and providing follow-up until payment of claim.  Also familiar with pre-certification process.
