JOB DETAILS: PayGrade: 118, Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: 8:00AM5:00PM; Days of work: Tuesday-Saturday
SUMMARY:
Responsible for directing all aspects of the intake process, including supervising the members of the intake team; establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients and their families, physicians, payers, and referral services; responding to customer requests and concerns; and developing the third party payer verification and authorization process.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of home medical and respiratory equipment. Basic computer skills. Knowledge of case management. Strong public relations skills. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and insurance coverage criteria. Customer service experience.
KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCE
Three years experience in a medical, billing, service industry, sales, community relations, or marketing field. Experience in organizing, scheduling, and dispatching staffing resources.
