Logistics and Acquisition Management

Summary: Will provide Program Analysis for the USAF Surgeon General Project.

Duties: Provide data mining and data analysis support including project management, technical, research, medical business practices, business case analysis, technology transition/deployment, and sustainment support.
Support completion of specific project tasking and work with the team to identify, analyze and recommend project related solutions. Support shall include examination, analysis and adoption of innovative practices; including best commercial practices and electronic business solutions that reduce cycle time and cost, encourage teamwork, and facilitate the documentation and institutional adoption of lessons learned.
Will provide ongoing analysis of all AFMS IM/IT programs (i.e. CHCS2, Population Health, etc.) with periodic matrix and reports presented to AFSG through a database that will track and retain all pertinent information.
Design, plan, and conduct complicated analyses/evaluations of personnel and workload databases to develop fact-based statistical and narrative assessments for executive management decision-making.
Will determine functional and cross-functional requirements, perform required tasks, and understand their relationships to broader personnel issues and identify resources required for each task.
Shall conduct formal requirements analysis and prepare requirements documents according to organization standards as well as actively participate in a variety of program management reviews and validations to provide optimal solutions or potential corrective actions to develop an effective healthcare workforce.

Qualifications:
BA/BS in related field and 4 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Federal Acquisitions Procurement course; Acquisitions 101
Must possess applicable experience in procurement for federal contracts, logistics and acquisition management. Knowledge of Balanced Scorecard Management Systems.
Experience in engineering, healthcare, research and development, and environmental safety would be beneficial. Prior AF background and or experience with Tri-Services (TRICARE) Healthcare projects preferred.
Experience with MS- Project and an understanding of Information Technology phases and milestones preferred.
