We are a leading national healthcare firm in need of a Managed Care Administrator.? This is a high profile position that reports to the Vice President of Business Services and interacts with the Executive Team and other key operational, client and corporate personnel.
?
Primary duties include the following:
???????? Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships through directing the identification, development, and maintenance of all contracts and preferred provider relationships with major healthcare providers.
???????? Renegotiates with providers for language/cost negotiations for individual contracts.? Makes managed care compliance with contracted fees, trending, and resolution of discrepancies.
???????? Creation of adaptable presentations that effectively explain and illustrate the company image, services provided, and contracting and pricing.
???????? Thoroughly explain to corporate personnel contract terms to ensure an understanding of the coverage for which the contract states.?
?
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree with 3 to 5 years of experience in managed care.? Masters in Health Administration is a plus.? Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience with physician interaction, durable medical equipment, home health, and outpatient managed care.? Experience with insurance companies, contract negotiations, and medical sales is preferred.
