Manager of Strategic Marketing

Regional Office ? Buckhead

 

The Manager will develop an effective marketing strategy and marketing plan for each year, and develop purchaser messaging.  Interface with Marketing Communications and other members of the MSBD management team to deploy key purchaser message initiatives.  Continuously enhance capabilities in: competitive intelligence, market analysis, customer understanding and insights, price position analysis and forecasting.  Deploy these capabilities to bring discipline and rigor to, and to maximize effectiveness of the marketing planning processes.  Implement and maintain an effective process to communicate market and customer insights and information to the management team and the organization at large.

 

Required Education and Experience:

? Minimum of seven years of related healthcare and/or marketing experience, including one year of experience in a management role with proven track record of achieving objectives through motivating and leading a team

? Minimum of four years of marketing analysis, planning or purchaser messaging development experience.  Demonstrated analytical and project management skills

? Ability to establish positive, professional relationships with key market customers and their advisors and our internal customers

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

? Master of Business Administration in marketing, strategy or other related area

? Thorough understanding of commercial employee benefits, insurance industry and HMO regulations, including State and Federal laws

? Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills, as well as strategic thinking and analysis skills

? Masters in marketing, MBA or related graduate level designation
