Hub Medical Products Inc. is a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Company that currently has positions open for Medical Accounts--Billing / Receivable Representative in North San Diego County--Carlsbad Ca area.

 

Ideal Candidate for Medical Accounts--Billing / Receivables Representative:High School Degree MinimumPositive attitude and good team memberMedical Terminology: OrthopedicsKnowledgeable with computer based patient management systemsThorough knowledge of Workers Compensation, Private and Medicare insuranceWorking knowledge of Insurance verification and Authorization processExcellent telephone etiquette, good verbal and written skillsProficient in Spanish a plus

 

Job Duties Include:Audits incoming paperwork for completeness and accuracy to ensure proper documentation for billing purposes.

? Data entry of patient demographics and insurance information. 

? Prepares and handles billing for accounts to ensure timely reimbursement.

? Verification that all insurance requirements are met. Authorizations are accurate and timely

? Reviewing of claims to ascertain that all charge forms are complete

? On a weekly basis, insure that all their claims eligible for submission are transmitted to the appropriate 3rd party via electronically or manually.

? Resubmit denied claims with proper documentation for further carrier review.

? Post payments and service dates to accounts as required.

? Respond to customer inquires regarding account status in a timely manner.

? Responsible for patient follow up on delinquent claims and timely resolution of all outstanding balances.

? Performs other related duties as directed by the supervisor
