Medical Biller/ Collector

Downtown Orlando medical client is in need of a talented individual to fill the role of Biller/Collector. In this position, you will be the one posting charges and payments to AR software, Verifies insurance coverage and follow-up with payers to facilitate uninterrupted cash flow.?Assisting physicians with their daily routines, intaking new patients, scheduling patients, prescription refill, obtaining authorizations.

Accurate billing on patient accounts, assures timely remittance.

Responsibilities:

? Assure accuracy of patient data,?insurance verification and billing information.

. Assisting physician with their routine daily schedule and time management.?

. Intaking new patients, screening new patients, scheduling patients and verifying their insurance?

? and their billing information.??????????

? Prepare/maintain billing files and records; understand net revenue schedule and realized?contractual????? log in relation to patient accounts.

? Investigate delinquent accounts making recommendation on disposition of outstanding balance; contact third party organizations regarding claim denials?and?to facilitate timely payment of outstanding charges.

? Provide timely notation of action taken on patient accounts;correct late charges; monitor insurance coding and effective/exhaust dates

? Respond to patient account inquiries. Scheduling appointments, maintaining records and accounts.

.? Monitoring aging report.

Qualifications:

?

? Requires a High School diploma with proficient in payer billing regulations

? Minimum of 2 years medical billing

. Good PC skills, Microsoft word & Excel and attention to detail required.

. Must have good attendance record, dependable, good people & communication skills, friendly, outgoing personality, team player, steady & progressive leaner with strong work ethic.
