Position: This position is responsible for obtaining patient financial information, reauthorizations, tracking the authorizations and collecting co-pays/coinsurance for the organization.

 

1.) Over site of clietns financial admission paperwork

2.) Collect appropriate fees for financial agreements

3.) Maintain accurate client financial records

4.) Obtain authoriziations form the various payers fro services privded by the clincial staff

5.) Accurately tracks and maintains authorization data files

6.) Bills and tracks payment from insurance providers

7.) Reports monthly reconciled admissions by site location and payer type

8.) Maintain confidentiality of client and business records

9.) Additional duties as assigned

 

Requirements: Experience with healthcare billing specifically with Medicare, Medicaid and 3rd party payers. CPT and ICD9 coding and health terminology.

 

Salary: $13-14/hr to start
